The board of directors Amgen (NASDAQ:AMGN) approved a dividend of USD1.45 per share of the company's stock for the first quarter of 2019, it declared on Friday

This dividend is payable on 8 March 2019 to all stockholders of record at the close of business as of 15 February 2019.

Amgen added that the new dividend marks a growth of 10% from each of the previous four quarters.
