FIGR Inc, a wholly owned indirect Canadian subsidiary of Pyxus International Inc (NYSE: PYX), has named Harvey Carroll as its new president effective immediately, it was reported yesterday.
Carroll brings more than 25 years of experience in the alcohol beverage, food, and media and communications industries to the FIGR leadership team. Most recently, he served as the CEO of Canadian operations for IPG Mediabrands, where he doubled the firm's staff to more than 500 employees and improved profitability. Prior to his time at IPG Mediabrands, he served as president of Grip Limited and vice president of Marketing of Labatt Breweries, North America.
