21 May 2019 - - US-based biomedical informatics and data management company DNAnexus, Inc has appointed Scott Gibson as chief financial officer, the company said.

In this role, Gibson will lead finance, legal, human resources, and administration.

Gibson has held CFO roles at both public and private firms that cover a broad swath of the tech industry.

Prior to joining DNAnexus, Gibson served as CFO at Conviva, a leading data analytics software platform firm in the media space.

Previously, he was CFO at several semiconductor, semiconductor equipment, and networking companies.

Gibson received his Bachelor of Science in industrial engineering from Iowa State University and his Master of Business Administration from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
