The Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA), a trade group representing US pharmaceutical companies, has named Jennifer Bryant as executive vice president of policy and research, it was reported yesterday.
Bryant has served the company for more than 13 years, most recently as senior vice president of policy and research. Prior to joining PhRMA, Bryant was vice president at The Lewin Group. Earlier, she held positions at Blue Cross Blue Shield Association, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida, New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center and the State of New York.
Bryant said, 'I am grateful for the opportunity to help advance policies that increase patients' access to medicines and assure continued progress toward the cures of tomorrow. Developing effective solutions requires working closely with stakeholders to find common ground, and I look forward to finding new ways to come together to foster innovation and affordability.'
