United States-based Access Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics has named Michael T LeGeyt, MD as its new MD for the orthopaedic team at Exeter, Dover and Portsmouth New Hampshire locations, it was reported on Friday.
Dr LeGeyt specialises in surgical and non-surgical treatment of the hands, wrists, and elbows. He earned his medical degree from the University of Connecticut and completed his residency in both Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Surgery at St Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Paterson, New Jersey. As the former chief of Orthopaedic Surgery at the Hospital of Central Connecticut's New Britain Campus, Dr LeGeyt has experience with a range of orthopaedic conditions. Presently, he is studying for his Master of Business Administration degree at the University of Massachusetts.
Dr LeGeyt is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery with a Certificate of Added Qualification in Surgery of the Hand. He is now accepting new patients at the three locations.
