Vifor Pharma, a Swiss global specialty pharmaceutical company, has named Stefan Schulze as its new CEO effective 14 May 2020, it was reported on Thursday.

Presently, Schulze has been the president of the Executive Committee and chief operating officer since 2017.

Schulze, an engineer by education, spent his professional career in the healthcare industry in the United States and Europe. He was working for the Fresenius Group in various positions from 1992 to 2014. In 2014 he became CEO of Vifor Fresenius Medical Care Renal Pharma.
