Genprex collaborates with Roche Diagnostics on NSCLC biomarker validation
3 August 2026 -

Gene therapy company Genprex Inc (NASDAQ: GNPX) disclosed on Monday that it has entered into a collaboration with Roche Diagnostics to validate biomarkers for patient selection in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) clinical trials, supporting the development of precision oncology approaches.

The studies will focus on validating TROP2 as a biomarker, building on Genprex research showing that high TROP2 H-scores and low PTEN H-scores were associated with improved patient response and longer progression-free survival in NSCLC studies.

Roche Diagnostics will conduct assay validation using its TROP2 antibody, with Genprex aiming to complete the studies by the end of 2026 and integrate the findings into its NSCLC clinical programme.

The collaboration is intended to refine patient identification strategies for Genprex's Reqorsa Gene Therapy programme and advance biomarker-driven treatment approaches for cancer patients.
