Sectra (STO: SECT B), a medical imaging IT and cybersecurity company, announced on Wednesday that it has signed a seven-year agreement with Mount Sinai Health System in New York to deploy Sectra Reporting, integrating medical imaging, artificial intelligence and radiology reporting within its Sectra One Cloud enterprise imaging platform. Mount Sinai is the first US health system to partner with Sectra for radiology reporting.
The contract, signed in the second quarter of Sectra's 2026/2027 financial year, covers all radiology services and more than 1.2 million examinations annually, with deployment planned for spring 2027.
This radiology reporting system will enable radiologists to move from worklist to signed report without switching applications. It supports free dictation, automatic report structuring, AI-drafted impressions and quality checks to identify inconsistencies before sign-off, helping reduce reporting turnaround times and simplify IT management.
Mount Sinai already uses Sectra's enterprise imaging platform for radiology, breast imaging and archiving. The health system operates seven hospitals, more than 400 outpatient practices and over 600 research and clinical laboratories.
