CVS Health expands GLP-1 weight management access through integrated care offering
5 August 2026 -

Health solutions company CVS Health (NYSE: CVS) announced on Wednesday that it has enhanced its weight management programme to improve access, affordability and support for eligible patients using GLP-1 medications. The expanded offering combines MinuteClinic digital visits, CVS Pharmacy services and pharmacist support to provide a connected care experience.

Through a collaboration with Eli Lilly and Company, eligible Zepbound and Foundayo patients will gain an additional access point through the CVS Health app, with transparent pricing options and access to same-day prescription pickup at CVS Pharmacy locations from early fourth quarter of 2026.

MinuteClinic online weight loss visits have been reduced to USD29, with no membership or recurring fees, allowing eligible adults to connect with licensed clinicians for assessment, treatment and ongoing monitoring. CVS Pharmacy offers all FDA-approved GLP-1 medications, including oral and injectable options, alongside savings support through insurance, manufacturer programmes and discount options.

CVS Health said its integrated model, supported by around 9,000 pharmacy locations and digital tools, aims to simplify access to GLP-1 therapies while helping patients manage costs and maintain treatment.
