Swedish healthcare group Asker Healthcare Group AB (STO: ASKER), which provides medical products and solutions across Europe, said on Tuesday it has acquired 100% of the shares in Teresa OÜ, an Estonian supplier of mobility aids and personal assistive equipment.
Teresa sells and rents mobility aids, personal care products and medical devices to patients and care providers through 11 service centres across Estonia and an online platform. The company employs 26 people and generated approximately SEK41m in revenue over the past year.
Asker Healthcare Group said Teresa's locations and product range complement its existing presence in Estonia and expand its ability to support patients and professional care providers.
The acquisition is expected to have a positive impact on the group's EBITA margin.
