Nurx, an all-in-one healthcare company that offers online access to medical providers and home delivery of medications and testing kits, has launched its services in Utah, it was reported yesterday.
The company says that it is focused on providing convenient and affordable options for everyday healthcare needs, and today offers access to birth control, home cervical cancer screening, and the HIV prevention medication, PrEP.
Nurx CEO and co-founder, Hans Gangeskar, said, 'We were encouraged by recent legislation in Utah making it easier for women to obtain birth control, although significant barriers remain by needing to find a participating pharmacy, and then also being able to pay for the consultation and prescription. We're taking these efforts a step further by making access to birth control and other essential health care even more convenient with online consultations and home delivery, while also ensuring everyone has access to a wide variety of affordable options, especially for those without health insurance.'
