Luye Pharma Group, a China-based pharmaceutical company, has signed a new partnership agreement with Distribution Solutions Phils Inc (Distriphil), a Philippines-based pharmaceutical distribution company, it was reported on Thursday.

According to the terms of the collaboration, Luye Pharma has granted the exclusive Phillippines distribution and marketing rights to Distriphil for the central nervous system drugs Seroquel and Seroquel XR.

Both products are atypical anti-psychotic medicines with antidepressant properties. Seroquel in mainly intended to treat schizophrenia and bipolar disorder while Seroquel XR is also approved in certain markets for major depressive disorder and generalised anxiety disorder.
