Pharmaceutical company Pneuma Respiratory Inc revealed on Friday the addition of shareholder J. Knox Singleton to its board of directors.
Singleton has served for 35 years as the CEO of Inova Health System, the largest employer in Northern Virginia, until his retirement in July 2018.
Previously, Singleton received numerous awards during his career in recognition of his leadership in the field of health care.
According to the company, Singleton is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of North Carolina, where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and he holds a Master's Degree in Health Administration from Duke University.
