Vietnam will allow residents to have a smaller gap between doses of AstraZeneca's (LON:AZN) COVID-19 vaccine in Ho Chi Minh City, the country's virus epicentre, Reuters news agency reported on Friday.
The ministry of health said in a statement that people in the city can now receive a second dose of the vaccine six weeks after the first.
This is down from the prior gap of between eight and 12 weeks.
