Indian pharmaceutical company Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd (BSE:500124, NSE:DRREDDY, NYSE:RDY) announced on Tuesday that it has launched Sugammadex Injection 200 mg/2 mL and 500 mg/5 mL single-dose vials in the United States as a generic equivalent of Bridion.

This launch expands Dr. Reddy's hospital portfolio. The vertically integrated product is manufactured through the company's global supply network and became available on the first day of generic availability in the US market.

Sugammadex Injection is indicated for the reversal of neuromuscular blockade induced by rocuronium bromide and vecuronium bromide in adult and paediatric patients aged two years and older undergoing surgery. The referenced brand generated approximately USD1.6bn in US sales for the latest 12-month period ended May 2026, according to IQVIA National Sales Perspectives data.
