Wiley (NYSE: WLY), a provider of content and research intelligence, announced on Tuesday that it has launched Advanced Immunology, a new open access journal focused on basic, clinical and translational immunology, as part of the continued expansion of its Advanced Portfolio of scientific publications.
The journal is now open for submissions and aims to connect research spanning fundamental immune mechanisms, emerging technologies and clinical applications to advance understanding of the immune system in health and disease. Its launch follows the recent introduction of Advanced Oncology and Advanced Brain, taking Wiley's Advanced Portfolio to more than 30 titles.
Advanced Immunology is led by editor-in-chief Jay H. Bream, PhD, a professor at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health with editorial experience at Frontiers in Immunology and Genes and Immunity. The journal is supported by an international editorial advisory board representing a broad range of immunology research.
