US-based pharmaceutical company US WorldMeds announced on Friday that it has received the 2026 Vision of Hope Award from the Sarcoma Foundation of America (SFA).
The company was chosen for its commitment to bringing new treatment options to people living with sarcoma and the way the organisation has engaged with the community, incorporating the patient advocacy perspective into its regulatory and development efforts.
SFA previously presented the award to Adaptimmune in 2022 for its work developing TECELRA (afamitresgene autoleucel). US WorldMeds acquired TECELRA in 2025 and has continued that mission by working to secure the product's full FDA approval, while continuing to pursue new therapeutic opportunities for people living with sarcoma.
