Sectra (STO: SECT B), a medical imaging IT and cybersecurity company, announced on Wednesday that it will provide its cloud-based Education Portal to Loyalist College in Ontario, Canada, giving students access to anonymized diagnostic imaging cases in a clinical learning environment.
The platform will enable clinicians at nearby hospitals to create courses and assessments using anonymized real-world cases, allowing students to practise diagnosis, treatment planning and monitoring from any device. Its scalable SaaS model supports self-directed, remote and on-site learning while reducing IT requirements for the college through managed updates and security.
An annual subscription agreement was signed in the fourth quarter of Sectra's 2025/2026 fiscal year, with the initial order allowing up to 50 users a month. The solution is designed to support additional imaging specialties and provide standardised training using tools that mirror clinical workflows, helping students develop practical skills for placements and professional practice.
