MedPal AI acquires eMARx to expand digital care home platform
20 July 2026 -

Digital health and pharmacy group MedPal AI plc (AIM: MPAL) (FRA: Z1N) announced on Monday that it has acquired Solid State Technologies Ltd, trading as eMARx, a provider of electronic medication administration record software for UK care homes and pharmacies, completing its Health OS platform for the care home sector.

eMARx adds a digital medication administration system that enables barcode-verified, real-time recording of medicines, alongside recurring software revenues. For the year ended 31 March 2026, the business generated unaudited revenue of GBP739,231 and profit after tax of GBP106,273.

MedPal said the acquisition strengthens its integrated offering by combining robotic pharmacy dispensing, care home pharmacy supply, private healthcare services, AI-powered patient support and medication administration software. The company believes the platform will support a wider national rollout from its robotic dispensing hub in Runcorn.

Initial consideration is valued at approximately GBP380,000, comprising GBP133,066 in cash and 7,272,834 new ordinary shares, with a completion accounts adjustment expected to increase the total consideration to about GBP474,000. Admission of the consideration shares to AIM is expected on or around 23 July 2026.
