Danish biopharmaceutical company TETRAPHARM announced on Friday that it has appointed Rolf Sass Sorensen as its new chief executive officer.
He succeeds Martin Rose, who founded the company along with Jesper Breum in 2018.
This leadership transition comes as TETRAPHARM advances its novel drug molecules and proprietary drug development delivery technologies alongside its contract development and manufacturing (CDMO) services for pharmaceutical partners.
Rolf Sass Sorensen has more than 30 years of experience, including senior roles in investor relations and corporate communications. He previously served as vice president of Investor Relations & Communications at vaccines company Bavarian Nordic A/S (CPH:BAVA).
Martin Rose and Jesper Breum are leaving their operational roles to pursue new biotech ventures together. Both will remain shareholders in TETRAPHARM.
